David is a bestselling author, motivational speaker and learning coach. He founded Potential Unlocked in 2017 and is renowned for unlocking potential in children, young people, and adults.
After a childhood of special educational needs (dyslexia) that left him an ‘underachiever’ (four years behind his peers), David created strategies that significantly improved his academic performance and empowered him to achieve GCSEs five grades above what he was predicted to attain. He has since dedicated his life and his work to unlocking young people’s learning potential, improving their academic performance, helping them find greater contentment and enjoy a passion-driven career.
David is the author of the bestselling book The Empowering Parent (2019) and has been invited to speak about unlocking children’s & young people’s potential by UK local authorities, at schools, events and in seminars, and has coached adults on starting their own businesses.
Today, David works with parents, educators, policymakers and organisations to ignite a movement of people who are fulfilled, successful and transformed, able to enjoy passion-driven careers and be positive contributors to society.
